I recently watched Ridley Scott’s Prometheus, and while I did enjoy some of the movie, overall I felt underwhelmed as there was so much wasted potential. Somewhere in Prometheus is a really great science fiction film, but sadly what we get instead is a mostly lackluster homage to the Alien franchise. The technical elements of the movie and the performances were very good, so I’ll mainly be commenting on the plot, as the failings of Prometheus, in my opinion, rest in the screenwriting.

Okay so this is everything I’ve been trying to put words to about prometheus but didn’t know how. I still liked prometheus quite a bit but I left the theater feeling like it needed to be a different kind of film and if they’d done all this it would’ve been the perfect film. So thank goodness for eloquent ppl far smarter than I who type it all up and put it into a lovely, succinct, well thought out article!

And a Roxy pony! Roxy turned out a lot classier looking than I thought she would so I suppose this is her adult incarnation? Disregard the smudge marks once again! My eraser is a piece of crap and I ain’t about to buy a new one just for coloring purposes.

So, time to get this coloring blog started! Although I should probably just change the name to “homestuck ponies” since that is what I have been coloring lately. I had to trace the stuff from the coloring books since I can’t draw for shit and all of the ponies in my book were already colored in so there’s a lot of eraser marks from places i messed up and such but here: have a vriska pony!
